We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design, analysis, and project management, contributing to cutting-edge engineering projects. Responsibilities

• Design complex mechanical systems, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
• Analyze data and metrics to improve existing mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team resources effectively.
• Document and present findings and project updates to management and stakeholders.
• Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans for mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to prevent mechanical failures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional engineering registration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design in an industrial setting

Technical Skills

• Experienced in project management software
• Skills in prototyping and testing mechanical systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
