Join our Johannesburg office as a SOC Analyst where you'll play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats. Your tasks will include monitoring system activities, conducting threat assessments, and collaborating with IT teams to implement security measures. Applicants should have experience with security tools and be quick problem solvers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage security incidents, documenting findings.
• Engage in constant learning to stay updated on current cyber threats.
• Support and educate staff on security awareness
• Review security alerts and develop integration summaries for actionable responses.
• Conduct root cause analysis for security breaches.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security

Technical Skills

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
• Incident Response
• Firewalls

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent
