Public Health Officer

Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing health policies and programmes aimed at improving community health standards. You will work closely with local health authorities and community leaders to address health issues and promote wellness initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct public health campaigns to address community health concerns.
• Analyze and interpret epidemiological data for health trends.
• Collaborate on projects with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
• Create educational materials for public health awareness.
• Support emergency response planning for public health crises.
• Assist with community outreach programs to improve health literacy.
• Coordinate vaccination drives and health screenings in the community.
• Facilitate workshops and training for public health education.
• Develop partnerships with local businesses and schools to support health initiatives.
• Evaluate community health needs and resources for health improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health or community health
