Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Childcare Worker to join our team in Cape Town. Your role will involve caring for children, ensuring their safety, and creating engaging learning experiences in a warm environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance during play and educational activities.
• Facilitate group activities that promote teamwork and cooperation.
• Communicate regularly with parents to discuss their child's achievements.
• Support children with special needs as required.
• Help with administrative tasks related to children's records and schedules.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• National Diploma in Childcare or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience working with children

Technical Skills

• Play-based Learning
• Behavior Management Strategies

Soft Skills

• Patience
• Teamwork

Certifications

• First Aid Certificate
• Child Protection Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to create and implement lesson plans: Experience designing educational activities for children.
