Job Description

As a Blending Supervisor, you will oversee the blending process in our manufacturing plant, ensuring efficiency and quality in product creation. This role demands strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day blending activities.
• Ensure the blending process is efficient and compliant with safety standards.
• Manage blending team and provide necessary training.
• Monitor and maintain blending equipment performance.
• Work closely with other departments for smooth operations.
• Prepare reports for the Production Manager on blending activities.
• Control inventory of raw materials and finished products.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• National Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years experience in blending or mixing operations with supervisory experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Inventory management software

Advantageous

• Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing: Prior experience in regulated environments, enhancing compliance skills.
