Job Description

We are seeking a Shift Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our Cape Town facility. The successful candidate will ensure that production goals are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production processes, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality output.
• Develop shift schedules and assign tasks to team members.
• Analyze production metrics and report performance trends to management.
• Maintain a safe working environment and advocate for employee safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for new production staff.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for production materials.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Foster a positive team environment focused on productivity and morale.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in operations management within a manufacturing setting.
