Interior Designer

Job Description

Join our energetic team as an Interior Designer in Cape Town. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and transform it into stunning interiors. A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics are essential, as well as the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to identify their design goals and functional needs.
• Produce detailed sketches and digital models for client proposals.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of furnishings and decor.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with vendors to source materials and furnishings that align with design concepts.
• Create and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Participate in design meetings to foster collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Interior Architecture or related field
• Postgraduate in Design Management is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in interior design

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• NCIDQ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations: Understanding of South African building regulations and compliance.
