Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security protocols to protect sensitive data and systems against cyber threats. You will collaborate closely with IT teams to assess risks and ensure compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the response to security incidents and coordinate recovery efforts.
• Assess risks and identify areas for improvement in security practices.
• Conduct security training sessions for all employees.
• Maintain documentation related to security controls and compliance.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Assist in preparing regulatory compliance reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security
• Relevant professional certifications are preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in information security
