As a Social Worker at Community First in Cape Town, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families facing social challenges. Responsibilities

• Assess client needs through interviews, observations, and assessments.
• Create and review treatment plans with clients and their families.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Work closely with community organizations to coordinate care.
• Educate clients about available services and how to access them.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Support clients in developing life skills and coping strategies.
• Engage in community outreach to raise awareness of social issues.
• Document client information and progress in accordance with policies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client cases and strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in social work or related fields
