Job Description

As a Pet Groomer with us in Durban, you'll be at the heart of our pet care services, offering grooming, bathing, and styling for dogs and cats. We're looking for a team player who is experienced, caring, and ready to provide excellent customer service to our pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality grooming services tailored to each pet's needs.
• Ensure pets feel comfortable and safe during the grooming process.
• Build trusting relationships with pets and their owners.
• Keep the grooming area clean and organized.
• Stay informed about new grooming products and tools.
• Assist in marketing efforts to attract new clients.
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in pet grooming or veterinary care

Technical Skills

• Pet Styling
• Health and Safety Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pet Grooming Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification for Animals: Certification in animal first aid is a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with pet health products: Knowledge of shampoos, conditioners, and health products suitable for pets.
