Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our Durban branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing clinical services, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. This role requires a strong customer service focus, as you will interact with patients daily to provide advice and support.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Advise patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Conduct health screenings and provide immunizations as needed.
• Stay updated with industry trends and new medications.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control.
• Participate in professional development and training activities.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries and resolve issues.
• Support the pharmacy manager in operational tasks as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy environment

Certifications

• Basic Life Support Certification

• English: Fluent
