Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Pharmacist to work in our Cape Town location. You'll be responsible for verifying prescriptions, discussing medication side effects, and maintaining patient records. This position offers the opportunity to improve patient health while working in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy operations to ensure quality services.
• Respond to patients' healthcare needs efficiently.
• Provide specialty consultation on medication management.
• Assist in research projects related to pharmacy practice.
• Promote safe and effective use of medicines.
• Address any medication-related problems and escalate issues.
• Prepare reports on pharmacy operations for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Master's in Pharmacy or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a retail or clinical pharmacy role

• Pharmaceutical Compounding

Certifications

• Pharmacy Practice Certificate
• Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

• Experience in a clinical setting: Understanding of clinical pharmacy practices and protocols.
