Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about patient care to join our team in Port Elizabeth. You will provide nursing assessment, care planning, and implement care interventions to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous therapies and medications.
• Conduct patient education on health issues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide support in emergency situations.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Support the orientation and training of new staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
• SANC registration as a Registered Nurse

Experience

• Experience in a specialized nursing field preferred

Technical Skills

• Clinical assessment

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN): Preferably a certification to enhance skills in critical care environments.
