Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for infrastructure development, working on projects that impact communities directly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and implementation of infrastructure projects.
• Review and approve designs and engineering calculations.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in community engagement initiatives related to projects.
• Document and report any site issues or changes to project plans.
• Support the development and implementation of professional development programs for staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering
