Responsibilities

• Examine and treat a variety of companion animals.
• Write prescriptions and provide follow-up care.

• Assist in training veterinary staff and interns.

• Work closely with pet owners to address their concerns and questions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
• Further training in exotic animal medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in a veterinary practice with experience in emergency care

Technical Skills

• Diagnostic imaging
• Anesthesia administration

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care certification
• Animal Nutrition certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced surgical techniques: Experience performing advanced surgeries on pets.
