Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Chemical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemical processes, as well as experience in project management and process optimization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to innovate and improve production methods.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new technologies and methods in chemical engineering.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality materials are used.
  • Develop safety protocols and ensure product compliance with regulations.
  • Engage in cross-departmental collaboration for project success.
  • Present findings and improvements to management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in budget development for engineering projects.
  • Participate in industry forums and conferences to stay current.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical engineering or related field preferred
