Job Description

We are looking for an Aerospace Engineer to work on groundbreaking aerospace projects in Johannesburg. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and innovative thinking to develop and implement advanced aerospace systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for new aerospace products.
• Conduct stress and performance testing on prototypes.
• Interface with suppliers to ensure quality materials and components.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance aerospace products.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to support certifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, focusing on aerospace

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Aerospace Technician
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
