We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. You will coordinate with various stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate various phases of construction and engineering projects.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure project integrity.
• Maintain project budgets and financial records accurately.
• Respond to project challenges with innovative engineering solutions.
• Liaise with local authorities for permits and licenses.
• Lead project meetings and communicate updates to all stakeholders.
• Draft and review project documents and contracts.
• Evaluate and recommend construction materials and methods.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control.
• Support sustainability initiatives within all project phases.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) qualification is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering
