Job Description

We are seeking a Healthcare Administrator to oversee the management of our healthcare facility operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare administration, be able to manage staff effectively, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the operations of the healthcare facility to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulatory requirements and policies.
  • Manage the facility's budget and financial resources.
  • Support staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Formulate and oversee policies aimed at improving service quality.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to develop pathways for improved patient care.
  • Maintain systematic records and reports of healthcare operations.
  • Engage in initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care quality.
  • Support communication between various departments and external partners.
  • Drive strategic projects to bolster healthcare service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Services Management or Business Administration
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative role
