Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our Pretoria team. This role will focus on developing and implementing sustainable practices to mitigate environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with local regulations and enhancing community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed environmental assessments to identify potential impacts of projects.
• Develop and recommend solutions to mitigate environmental risks.
• Assist in obtaining environmental permits and ensuring compliance during projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainable practices.
• Conduct training workshops for staff on environmental awareness.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on environmental policies to stakeholders.
• Work with governmental and non-governmental organizations on conservation projects.
• Evaluate and report on the environmental impact of corporate activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or related roles

• Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng)
