We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have experience in various civil engineering projects and a passion for enhancing infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing construction activities. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering plans for various civil construction projects.
• Assist in the preparation of project bids and contracts.
• Evaluate and recommend materials and equipment for projects.
• Review and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
• Maintain accurate project documentation for auditing purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• At least 5 years in civil engineering projects

• AutoCAD
• Civil 3D

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Time Management

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• SACPCMP registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Project Management Certification: Certification in project management methodologies.
