Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our team in Sandton. In this role, you will assess and mitigate risks associated with cybersecurity threats, ensuring the safety of our digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans
• Collaborate with technology teams to enhance our cybersecurity framework
• Conduct security audits and compliance checks regularly
• Analyze security breaches and recommend preventive measures
• Prepare detailed reports outlining vulnerabilities and remediation strategies
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry regulations
• Provide expert guidance on security best practices to all staff
• Monitor cyber threat intelligence feeds and respond to alerts
• Train employees on security policies and practices
• Assist in the development of the organization's disaster recovery plan

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or a related field
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity risk analysis
