Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychological assessment, intervention, and support to our patients, contributing to their mental wellbeing and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose psychological disorders using established guidelines.
• Facilitate therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Collaborate with other health practitioners for integrated care solutions.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
• Lead psychoeducational workshops for patient engagement.
• Involve in community outreach initiatives.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in clinical psychology.
• Engage and advocate for patient rights and mental health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology preferred
• Active registration with HPCSA

Experience

• Clinical experience in therapy and assessment settings

Certifications

• HPCSA Registered Clinical Psychologist

Languages

• English: Fluent
