Job Description

As a Sock Boarder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all socks are properly inspected, sorted, and packaged for sale, while maintaining stringent quality control throughout the production process. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality control of socks during the production process.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Utilize sewing machines to attach borders to socks as required.
• Regularly check the quality of the finished products and report discrepancies to management.
• Help train new staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Maintain a tidy workstation and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Quality control techniques
• Ability to operate sewing machines

Advantageous
