Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in patient care by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will handle prescriptions, provide professional advice, and work closely with other healthcare professionals. We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prescriptions to ensure appropriate dispensing.
• Perform clinical assessments to identify medication-related problems.
• Coordinate medication therapy management services.
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss pharmacy operations and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Advanced degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• South African Pharmacy Council Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in oncology or chronic disease management: Background in treating patients with chronic diseases or cancer therapies.
