Responsibilities

• Administer various psychological tests and interpret the results.
• Facilitate workshops and support groups focused on mental health topics.
• Advocate for mental health research and contribute to ongoing projects.
• Build rapport with clients to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Supervise interns and students in clinical practice settings.

Requirements

Education

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in a similar role.

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Family Therapy

Certifications

• Advanced therapeutic methods certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Advanced training in Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT).: Specialized skills in working with couples through integrative behavioral approaches.
• Certification in Play Therapy.: Knowledge of play therapy techniques for engaging younger clients.
