Looking for a motivated Environmental Consultant to join our Pretoria-based team. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing environmental management plans, and guiding clients through regulatory processes. Your expertise will help shape a more sustainable future for businesses and communities alike.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental projects from initiation to completion.
• Assess and mitigate environmental risks associated with projects.
• Develop strategies for pollution prevention and control.
• Engage with local communities to promote environmental awareness.
• Implement monitoring programs to track environmental performance.
• Collaborate with other consultants and specialists on complex projects.
• Prepare grant proposals for environmental funding opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong focus on sustainability

Technical Skills

• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
• Sustainability Reporting

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Certified Sustainability Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with renewable energy projects: Background in working with clients on renewable energy solutions.
• Proficiency in additional languages: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or other local languages is an advantage.
