Insulation Technician

Job Description

As an Insulation Technician, you will be pivotal in installing, maintaining, and repairing insulation systems in various buildings. This role demands a keen eye for detail, practical skills, and a strong familiarity with insulation materials.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of insulation materials, including fiberglass and spray foam.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot insulation systems for performance issues.
• Provide estimates and project timelines for insulation projects.
• Apply vapor barriers and protective coatings to insulation systems.
• Document all phases of insulation work and adhere to schedule deadlines.
• Educate clients on insulation benefits and maintenance.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the construction team on insulation integration.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure insulation standards are met.
• Assist in the development of training materials for new employees.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional training in HVAC or construction is a plus

Experience

• Experience leading teams of technicians preferred

Technical Skills

• Mathematical and measurement skills

Certifications

Languages
