Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from cyber threats. You will monitor network traffic for suspicious activity, respond to incidents, and enhance our security protocols to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee security measures across all company networks.
• Develop response plans for security incidents.
• Implement and manage security tools and technologies.
• Conduct security audits and assessments.
• Research and resolve security vulnerabilities.
• Provide ongoing training on security awareness to employees.
• Collaborate with external security partners for best practices.
• Ensure compliance with local and international data protection regulations.
• Lead cybersecurity incident response team.
• Prepare reports for management on security status and incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in information security
