DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our expanding team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both operations and development, focused on automating processes and improving efficiencies across our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD processes for application deployment.
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts for repetitive tasks using Python or Bash.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Work closely with QA teams to integrate testing into the deployment process.
• Foster a culture of DevOps best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or related fields

Technical Skills

• AWS
• Docker

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
