Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ medical history and perform necessary examinations.
• Formulate appropriate treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide counsel on lifestyle changes and preventive care.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Engage in ongoing education to enhance medical knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is an asset

Experience

• 4+ years experience in a clinical setting

• Clinical Assessment

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Family Medicine Certification (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
