UX/UI Designer

Job Description

Join us as a UX/UI Designer and play a vital role in shaping the look and feel of our digital products. Based in Stellenbosch, you will be tasked with delivering innovative design solutions by conducting user research, creating wireframes, and developing prototypes. You will partner with product managers and developers to ensure a seamless design process that meets business goals and caters to user needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of key features from concept to launch.
• Implement user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Prototype new ideas and conduct usability tests to validate concepts.
• Present design ideas to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Collaborate on marketing materials to ensure design continuity.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on projects.
• Ensure all designs are implemented accurately and meet quality standards.
• Document design rationale and decisions for future reference.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and integrate them into the design process.
• Develop presentations to communicate design concepts to broader teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction
• Postgraduate degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design or related roles

Certifications

• Certified Interaction Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with design systems: Experience in working within established design systems and guidelines.
