Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Consultant based in Port Elizabeth to enhance our taxation team. Your role will involve providing high-level tax consultation to a diverse client base, ensuring they are compliant and informed about their tax obligations. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our clients' financial success.

Responsibilities

• Identify tax planning opportunities and strategies.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax documents.
• Review client financial reports to provide tax insights and advice.
• Engage with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Provide support for internal tax audits to ensure compliance.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of client accounts.
• Advise clients on international tax issues if applicable.
• Prepare comprehensive tax reports and presentations.
• Mentor junior staff in tax procedures and compliance.
• Develop and implement tax training programs for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree or further qualifications in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax consulting or related field
