Job Description

As a Textile Cutting Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for setting up and operating cutting machines to produce high-quality textile products. Your work will ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting machines to produce various textile products.
• Inspect textiles for defects before and after cutting.
• Ensure all materials are prepared and available for production.
• Document machine settings, production metrics, and issues.
• Implement new production techniques to improve efficiency.
• Participate in safety audits and contribute to safety improvements.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of materials used for cutting.
• Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma in Textile Engineering or related field is beneficial

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in textile manufacturing settings

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Previous experience in a supervisory role: Experience leading a small team of operators preferred.
