Job Description

Our organization is on the hunt for a Mental Health Counselor in Pretoria. This role involves providing essential mental health services, including counseling and psychoeducation. You will work closely with clients to establish goals and facilitate their personal growth in a welcoming and understanding atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness.
  • Engage in community outreach and mental health awareness campaigns.
  • Evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
  • Document sessions accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a counseling or therapeutic setting
