Job Description

The Insurance Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating insurance applications and assessing risk factors to determine coverage and premiums. With a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships, this role requires analytical insight and extensive knowledge of underwriting principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for new and existing clients.
• Work closely with brokers and agents to obtain necessary information.
• Assist in the development of new insurance products.

• Provide training and guidance to junior underwriters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance or Risk Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting or related field
