Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Machine Precision Engraver to operate and maintain our cutting-edge engraving machines. This role is pivotal in creating detailed engravings on a range of materials, ensuring the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the operation of precision engraving equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Manage the setup, calibration, and adjustment of machines for specific projects.
• Complete thorough inspections of engraved materials to confirm quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with designers to meet detailed engraving specifications.
• Maintain regular upkeep and service of engraving machines to prevent downtime.
• Document all engraving processes and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all safety guidelines and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
• Conduct periodic evaluations of finished engravings for quality assurance.
• Assist in managing the inventory of engraving materials.
• Explore advancements in engraving technology and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in CAD/CAM is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in machine engraving or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Laser engraving experience
• Material specifications knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• Certification in advanced engraving techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of engraving for jewellery: Experience in engraving techniques specific to jewellery products.
• Familiarity with 3D engraving techniques: Experience in employing 3D engraving methods for intricate designs.
