We are on the lookout for a skilled Penetration Tester to join our dedicated cybersecurity team in Cape Town. The suitable candidate will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our systems and implementing effective solutions to bolster security measures. You will play a vital role in protecting organizational assets and ensuring data integrity across various platforms. Collaboration with other IT professionals to develop comprehensive security strategies will be an essential part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular assessments of web applications and networks to identify potential threats.
• Collaborate on security strategy development and incident response plans.
• Provide expert advice on secure coding practices and threat mitigation strategies.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents to ensure a proactive security stance.
• Enhance the overall security architecture and policies based on findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent
• Other IT-related certifications are beneficial

Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles
