We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to communicate financial insights effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and prepare reports on costs, productivity, and performance metrics.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for departments.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, projections, and insights.
• Work with team members to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide support in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving financial performance.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform financial strategies.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain financial models and may involve in financial audits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics
• Postgraduate qualification in finance is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in finance or business analysis
