Job Description

As a Rolling Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender, you will play a crucial role in the production process. You will be responsible for setting up and operating various rolling machines to shape metal and plastic products. Attention to detail and quality assurance are key to ensuring the final products meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Setup and calibrate rolling machines for different production requirements.
• Check and adjust machine settings to meet production specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on products to ensure conformity with standards.
• Document production activity and report findings to supervisors.
• Assist with training new operators on procedures and machine operation.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any defects.
• Keep the work area organized and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Optimize production processes to minimize waste and increase efficiency.
• Provide troubleshooting support for machine issues.
• Help enforce a culture of safety and efficiency within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a related apprenticeship program is an asset
• Further qualifications in engineering or manufacturing are beneficial

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in a similar manufacturing position.
