We are looking for a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Durban. Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of new chemical processes.
• Collaborate with environmental teams to minimize waste and emissions.
• Conduct feasibility studies for process modifications.
• Prepare and review technical documentation for compliance.
• Mentor and guide junior engineering staff.
• Work on process scale-up from laboratory to production scale.
• Test equipment and processes for efficiency and reliability.
• Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding project requirements.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas of concern.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar field
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is a plus

• 5+ years in a chemical engineering role
