Job Description

We are searching for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and be adept in CI/CD processes. Your role will involve collaborating with development teams to streamline software deployment and ensure high availability of services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth software deployment.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and cloud services.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Document processes and maintain system architecture documentation.
• Implement security best practices in cloud environments.
• Conduct regular performance testing and optimization.
• Mentor junior team members on DevOps best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps roles or system administration
