Water Resource Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Water Resource Specialist to engage with communities, assess their needs, and identify available resources. This role combines strategic planning and grassroots outreach to promote sustainable water management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct community needs assessments to identify areas for intervention.
• Coordinate with local governments and NGOs to enhance resource allocation.
• Implement educational programs on sustainable water practices.
• Evaluate and report on community engagement initiatives.
• Develop promotional materials to raise awareness of available resources.
• Support the management of community resource initiatives.
• Facilitate community meetings to gather feedback and improve programs.
• Assist in team training and development around community engagement strategies.
• Promote a culture of self-sustainability within communities.
• Conduct follow-ups with community members to assess ongoing needs.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years experience in a leadership or project management role.
