Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accountant to enhance our financial team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports for management review.
• Oversee payroll operations and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development of accounting policies and practices.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
• Respond to inquiries from management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate on projects focused on improving financial efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
• Professional accounting qualification is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of professional accounting experience

Technical Skills

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Audit Preparation

Certifications

• CIMA or equivalent certification is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
