Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Building Inspector to oversee the integrity of our construction projects in Johannesburg. You will evaluate plans, conduct site visits, and provide detailed inspections. Your role is vital in promoting building safety and compliance, making your expertise essential for maintaining high standards within our industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inspection timelines and ensure timely completion of assessments.
  • Investigate complaints of building code violations and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and results.
  • Attend relevant training and workshops to enhance knowledge of building practices.
  • Support project management teams in ensuring quality control on-site.
  • Assess safety hazards and advise remedial measures to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in building inspection
