Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for providing medication therapy management, counseling patients on medication usage, and ensuring safe dispensing practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of medication compounding and dispensing.
  • Counsel patients on the appropriate use and potential side effects of medications.
  • Participate in continuous education and training programs.
  • Maintain an organized and clean pharmacy environment.
  • Review patient medication records to prevent errors and ensure safety.
  • Support pharmacy operations by assisting with administrative tasks.
  • Engage with the local community on health initiatives and programs.
  • Stay informed about new medications and treatments in the pharmacy field.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
  • Postgraduate degree is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist
