Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Pretoria, Gauteng. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health programs that address community needs, working closely with healthcare providers, and engaging with the community to promote public health awareness and education.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive health services.
  • Evaluate community health needs and assess program effectiveness.
  • Facilitate partnerships to enhance community wellness.
  • Conduct research to support public health initiatives.
  • Engage with local government agencies on health-related matters.
  • Provide health education to diverse populations.
  • Monitor compliance with health regulations.
  • Empower communities through health literacy programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work or relevant field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is an asset
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health programs
