Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and health assessments for patients.
• Assist in medical procedures and treatments.
• Provide emotional support and care to patients and families.
• Coordinate with other departments for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in continuous training and development programs.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Patient Care
• Medication Administration

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in a specialized nursing field (e.g. pediatrics, geriatrics): Relevant experience in specialized areas of nursing practice.
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems: Familiarity with digital patient management systems.
