Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will lead critical health projects aimed at improving community well-being. Your responsibilities will include conducting health assessments, analyzing health data, and leading educational programs. We are looking for an individual with a proactive approach to public health challenges and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community health programs aimed at disease prevention and health promotion.
  • Conduct health assessments and epidemiological research to monitor public health trends.
  • Collaborate with health departments, NGOs, and local communities to enhance health service delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver health education materials and workshops for targeted populations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of public health initiatives and modify strategies as needed.
  • Assist in policy advocacy to influence public health regulations and guidelines.
  • Collect and analyze health data to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or a related field
  • Master’s degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health or health promotion
