Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will work at the forefront of health promotion and disease prevention in Johannesburg. Collaborating with healthcare professionals and community leaders, you will assess public health needs and design programs to address those needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate health trends and challenges affecting the community.
  • Implement strategies to improve access to health services.
  • Coordinate with government agencies to ensure alignment on public health objectives.
  • Develop grant proposals to secure funding for public health projects.
  • Evaluate the success of health initiatives and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of interns and volunteers involved in public health projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health
  • Master's degree in Public Health or related field
